Why Subscribe?

Well, why do anything? I write about philosophy and (very occasionally) why it might be important. But mainly I am just interested in the arguments, where they come from, and why so many people seem to get them wrong. And mostly why you shouldn’t take any of them seriously — because when you get down to it, many of the big ideas that shape our society are hilariously dumb.

There will be weekly updates (where that utterance is to be understood prescriptively, not descriptively). The Philosophy Carpark is currently free, but if the management can find some way to make money out of it in the future, you know that they will.
